Background: 

Orangello hails from the sun-drenched citrus groves of Foodlandia, where oranges grow in abundance and soak up the radiant energy of the sun. According to Foodlandian lore, Orangello was created from the sweetest and juiciest oranges, each segment infused with the warmth and vitality of the sun. The bright, orange surface of its body symbolizes health and energy. 

Starting life as a small Doodie hanging from an orange tree, Orangello ventures out as a Doodie to begin its adventures. As a Doodie, Orangello relies on rolling and bouncing to move quickly, and evade any enemies.  As it evolves into a Dooder, Orangello grows longer arms and legs, gaining more agility and strength, and a set of wings for flying short heights and distances. As a Doodastator, Orangello evolves further, developing larger wings, and transforming its arms and legs into powerful tentacles.  Orangello often hides among other fruits or in fruit bowls, blending in with its surroundings.

Strengths:

Orangello relies on its defensive abilities as a Doodie, to compensate for it’s reduced movement and mobility.  As it evolves, Orangello develops improved mobility, and the ability to fly.  As Dooder and Doodastator, Orangello utlises it’s incredible vision and attacking abilities to target enemies from above, while avoiding danger from ground and water-based Food Doods. Orangello is a Fruitable and can beat Grainies.

Weaknesses: 

Orangello’s juicy insides makes it less durable against prolonged attacks, and vulnerable to being squished by persistent foes. Its sweet aroma and bright colour can make it easy to detect. If Orangello overuses its OcuCore Radiance, it can become overly ripe and less effective in battle. Orangello is a Fruitable and vulnerable to attacks from Protevores and Ockazionals.

Connections: 

Orangello enjoys teaming up with other Food Doods to create refreshing drinks and snacks for humans. When paired with Dairbies, it can transform into a delicious orange ice cream sweets. When it joins forces with Grainies, it can become part of a hearty breakfast with orange juice and cereal.
