Background: 

Carroton originated in lush gardens where carrots grow in abundance. Ancient tales suggest that Carroton's ancestors were ordinary carrots that absorbed the essence of the earth, developing their unique abilities. Carroton’s bright orange glow is believed to come from the concentrated nutrients it absorbed from the soil. 

This Food Dood begins life as a Doodie sprouting from the ground and, once mature, pulls itself free and starts exploring its surroundings. As it grows into a Dooder, Carroton’s strength and digging abilities increase.  When it evolves into a Doodastator, Carroton grows much larger in size, and a long, strong tail. Carroton often hides among other vegetables in kitchens and gardens, making it hard to spot.

Strengths:

Carroton has a tough, fibrous exterior that provides a good defense against attacks. When threatened, it can burrow into the ground to hide or escape. As a Doodie, it relies on its small size and agility to avoid danger. As a Dooder, Carroton gains the ability to dig quickly through the earth and can blast enemies with its powerful eyes. As a Doodastator Carroton has increased armour and snake-like tail that is fast like a whip and strong as a python, catching and squeezing its opponents. Carroton has the highest amount of Vitamin A of any Food Dood in all Foodlandia.  Carroton is a Veggicon and can overpower Fruitables.

Weaknesses: 

Carroton’s bright colour makes it easy to spot in open areas. It has low protein and energy levels, so can tire out quickly if digging for too long, and is less effective on hard surfaces where it cannot dig. Carroton is a Veggicon and vulnerable to attacks from Grainies and Ockazionals.          

Connections: 

Carroton enjoys teaming up with other Food Doods to create nutritious meals for humans. When Carroton pairs with Protevore, it can transform into a hearty stew. When it teams up with Grainies, it can create a delicious cake.
